In celebration of Social Work Month, Forever Care Resource Center is hosting a 2-hour continuing education session focused on self-care for social workers. This session will explore strategies to prevent burnout, manage stress, and maintain overall well-being while working in the helping professions. Attendees will learn practical techniques to prioritize their own health while supporting clients effectively.

A panel of licensed social workers with experience in mental health, wellness, and professional development.
Learning Objectives:
Identify effective self-care practices for social workers
Understand the impact of burnout and how to prevent it
Develop strategies to maintain personal well-being while supporting clients
CEU Credits:
Participants will receive 2 hours of general CEU credit. Approved by LABSWE (Louisiana Board of Social Work Examiners).

This session is designed for leaders, ministers, and believers who desire to better understand mental health within the church and create spaces of healing and support.
